Dad had a busy day - Past simple tense
The students write numbers from 1 to 12 into their notebooks.
Each gap in the text is numbered so they have to come up with the right verb. After that the text is repeated but the gaps have one/two begining letters as a help. When all gaps are filled in the students have to put the story into the correct order.
